Moving Forward Foundation

I have discovered this great non-profit close to home, doing great work. Moving Forward Foundation is running an annual charity poker tournament to benefit their "Next Steps Program". This program provides interest-free micro loans to victims and survivors of domestic abuse so they can improve their lives.

This year their annual charity poker tournament will be held on Sunday January 29th, 2012.

I love sharing news of great organizations who help those in need. Mississauga Furniture is so helpful for those in need of furniture.

The Mississauga Furniture Bank recycles new and gently used household furnishings from individuals and corporate donors to our client base which includes women and children, refugees and the homeless.

These clients have been referred to us by registered community shelters and agencies.
