In less than two weeks, I will be walking once again in the "Weekend To End Women's Cancers" Proceeds going to the Campbell family Institute at The Princess Margaret Hospital. The research at this hospital is amazing. I have attended many recognition events at the hospital, held for walkers. You learn so much, and get to speak with many of the researchers. I just love this event. This is my fourth year being involved in the walk for women's cancers. Proceeds benefit the Princess Margaret Hospital here in Toronto ! They do amazing things at this hospital,and I am proud to be apart of it. This weekend I held a fundraising event for the walk, and I wanted to share some pictures. So many of you have heard Heather Hamilton's story. She truly is an inspiration to all of us. On March 2nd 2011, she lost her son Zack, who was three at the time to a genetic disorder, and heart defect.
Through social media we followed her story and emotions while going in and out of the hospital with Zack. We all felt like we knew Heather and her wonderful family. Another great event in support of The Princess Margaret Hospital. As a participant in The Weekend To End Women's Cancers, I have learn so much about the hospital and all the great work it does.  Once again I have to say, I have been connected to a great group of people through socia media. I just love Twitter ! Back in March I was so moved listening to one of my twitter friends Heather, tweet about her son Zack. Zack was a twin and born with a congenital heart defect known as Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Drainage (TAPVD). At two and a half weeks old, Zack underwent a procedure to repair his heart. Wow, another "Weekend To End Women"s Cancers" is over. We had an amazing weekend, there is no feeling quite like it. In its ninth year, with over 4000 walkers, raising 9.4 million dollars for the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto.
You will never meet a nicer group of people...walkers, survivors, researchers, doctors, all there to walk their little hearts out. Yes your feet hurt, some get blisters...but heck, day one was 34km, what do you expect? lol When you participate in the two day...

 I have to say, I go through life a pretty positive person. I see the best in people, even if they are not (thats not always a good thing), but there are always moments in my life when I stop and realize how lucky I am.
